New and returning series include • 2gether 3 Non Blondes, 90 Days in Hollywood, Celeb, Girls in Love, Little Britain, My Parents Are Aliens, Postman Pat, Rooms that Rock, Serious Desert, Serious Jungle, The Call, Theodore Tugboat, Top of the Pops and What Not 2 Wear.
2gether New and Returning Series (Network Premiere) Sat. and Sun. at 5:30pm ET, beginning Sept. 3 2gether is a half-hour series complete with hit original tunes and five heartthrob singers who have become an overnight success. They are joined by overly adoring fans and sleazy music execs who are ready to exploit them at every turn. This fictional group includes the five key ingredients to every successful boy band – “the heartthrob” Jerry O’Keefe, “the rebel” Mickey Parke, “the cutie” Jason “QT” McKnight, “the shy one” Chad Linus and “the older brother” Doug Linus.
3 Non Blondes New and Returning Series (Network Premiere) Sun. at 9pm ET, beginning Sept. 4 Critically acclaimed for the originality of its comedy, this series introduces British society to the character sketch as it takes the hidden camera stunt show in a whole new direction. Cameras follow the girls as they take to the British streets, adopt various characters and watch how the public react. Girls in Love New and Returning Series (North American Premiere) Sat. and Sun. at 2pm ET, beginning Sept. 3 Adapted from Jacqueline Wilson’s best-selling books, Girls in Love is a teen drama about the trials and tribulations of being 14 years old. This series is all about the important things: friends, fun and boys!
Little Britain New and Returning Series (Network Premiere) Sat. at 9pm, beginning Sept. 3 Written and performed by Matt Lucas and David Walliams, this character-based sketch show looks at the debris of modern life and delights in all that is mad, bad, quirky and generally crazy about the people and places of Britain. My Parents Are Aliens New and Returning Series (North American Premiere) Weekdays at 5pm ET, beginning Aug. 29 Melanie, Josh and Lucy Barker are orphans. Serious Desert New and Returning Series (Network Premiere) Winter 2005 This six-part BAFTA award-winning series follows eight 13 to 15-year-olds as they trek 60 miles across the world’s oldest desert in Namibia to help the highly endangered desert-adapted black rhinoceros. The children trek with camels, build camps and survive in the most basic conditions while they track and monitor the rare rhinos.
Serious Jungle New and Returning Series (Network Premiere) Winter 2005 Serious Jungle is a unique and groundbreaking reality children’s series.
