CourtTV Canada presents Crime Files Cold Case Edition
Posted on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 - 11:32 AM
Court TV Canada

CourtTV Canada has announced the world premiere of its original program Crime Files Cold Case Edition, a series that digs into Canada's "cold" case files.

Join veteran journalist, producer, and host Sue Sgambati each week as she re-visits some of Canada's unsolved mysteries. Forensic experts, criminal profilers, lead investigators and victims' families join Sue to re-examine infamous cold cases

"We are putting a fresh headline on these cold cases to put them back on the public's radar," says Sgambati. "The program's goal is to uncover details that have not been seen or heard before."

Episode one delves into the 1994 brutal sexual assault and murder of Toronto grandmother, using crime scene photos and information from a criminal profiler to explore one of the strangest cases in Canada's crime history. Following episodes deal with headline-making cases such as the mysterious "girl in a suitcase" murder, an update on the strange slaying of a self-proclaimed super psychic, and an overhaul on a 30-year old case involving the death of a woman known only as "the Nation River lady."

Crime Files Cold Case Edition airs:
Fridays, starting June 3rd @ 6pm & 11pm ET / 4pm & 9pm MT
