Although the show was cancelled in production by UPN earlier this month, Star Trek: Enterprise will live on. SPACE: The Imagination Station announced today that it has purchased the exclusive cable strip rights to air the series Mondays to Fridays, beginning in the fall of 2005.

"We are delighted to add Star Trek: Enterprise to our Star Trek daily line-up. Given its popularity on SPACE, and the fan support it has, we feel it's a sci-fi must-have for the channel and the audience alike," says Ismé Bennie, director of programming and acquisitions for SPACE.

Cast of Star Trek: Enterprise

A prequel to the original Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Enterprise is set in the 23rd century and follows the adventures of a spacecraft whose five-year mission included the exploration of distant worlds and the shipment of supplies to Earth colonies in space. The series, which debuted in September 2001, stars Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer, Jolene Blalock, John Billingsley, Dominic Keating, Anthony Montgomery and Linda Park.

SPACE: The Imagination Station, a division of CHUM Television, is a 24-hour-a-day English-language national science fiction, science fact, speculation and fantasy channel (www.spacecast.com). SPACE is truly the boutique station for all those who dare to challenge their imagination. CHUM Television is a division of CHUM Limited (TSX: CHM/CHM.NV.B, www.chumlimited.com), one of Canada's leading media companies and content providers which owns and operates radio stations, local television stations, specialty channels and Internet properties.
