Programming highlights for YTV, Discovery Kids and TreeHouse TV.
SPONGEBOB EXTRAVAGANZA ON YTV
TV’s best-known sponge is heading to movie theatres on November 19, and to celebrate YTV is hosting two special SpongeBob SquarePants events to coincide with the premiere. On Sunday, November 14, viewers can tune in at 7 a.m. for a five-hour marathon of viewers’ choice episodes, which viewers can vote for at www.ytv.com in the weeks leading up to the event. More of SpongeBob’s nautical nonsense and deep-sea antics follow on Thursday, November 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. when The Zone hosts Carlos and Sugar share their top-four picks with viewers.
JIMMY NEUTRON BLASTS OFF IN SPECIAL YTV WEEKEND
Saturday, November 20 kicks off YTV’s Jimmy Neutronweekend, airing TWO movies and FOUR back-to-back NEW episodes!
On Saturday, November 20 at 4 p.m., catch Jimmy Neutron: Win, Lose, KABOOM! (2004) on YTV. When Jimmy deciphers a mysterious alien message, he and his friends are transported into outer space where they are forced to compete in an intergalactic reality game show. The catch? Losers get their home planet destroyed!
Later on Saturday, November 20, at 8 p.m., Jimmy is back in Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001). Jimmy is a brainiac with a lot to learn about being cool. When aliens kidnap all of Earth’s parents, however, it’s up to him to rescue them, and lead his classmates on an exciting and hilarious outer space adventure.
The four brand new Jimmy Neutron episodes air back-to-back on Sunday, November 21 starting at 9:30 a.m.
POWERPUFF GIRLS TAKE OVER
On Saturday, November 6, tune in to YTV for the EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN PREMIERE of Powerpuff Girls: The Movie at 4 p.m. To celebrate, two BRAND NEW Powerpuff Girls episodes premiere leading up to the feature presentation starting at 3 p.m.
In Powerpuff Girls Simian Says, airing November 6 at 3 p.m., Mojo Jojo takes over the Narrator’s job when he is mysteriously found bound and gagged, and tricks the Girls into stealing things for him from all over Townsville.
In Powerpuff Girls Sun Scream, airing November 6 at 3:30 p.m., the Girls have to do their best to fight crime in Townsville despite having the ultimate sunburn.
On Saturday, November 6 at 4 p.m. tune in for Powerpuff Girls: The Movie. After accidentally wrecking the town in a wild game of tag, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, three little girls with super-powers, want to make it up to the townspeople. To do this, they must defeat Jojo, who, with an army of super-powered monkeys, is constantly trying to take over Townsville. While defending their new home, they learn that with great power comes great responsibility.
BARBIE SUNDAYS
YTV introduces Barbie Sundays with five consecutive weeks of Barbie feature films. Starting November 21, tune in every Sunday at 1 p.m. for another enchanting Barbie movie.
On Sunday, November 21 at 1 p.m., tune in to the YTV EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE of Barbie in the Princess & The Pauper, for a musical tale of friendship, loyalty and true love. Barbie plays both Princess Anneliese and brunette Erika, who, despite vastly different backgrounds, become fast friends. When a dastardly plot threatens Princess Anneliese’s kingdom, the two friends set out on an exciting adventure to put a stop to the scheme. Along the way, they trade identities, find love and make many new friends while singing and dancing their way towards saving the day.
BEYBLADE G-REVOLUTION FINALE
For those of you who have been anxiously waiting for the final episode of Beyblade G-Revolution, it’s finally here! On Thursday, November 25 tune into The Zone at 4:30 p.m. to catch the long-awaited finale.
Beybattle for the Ages: Fresh from a humiliating defeat at the hands of Kai, Brooklyn seeks to quench his thirst for revenge by wreaking havoc on the city, and Tyson is the only one who can stop him. GIRL POWER ON YTV
Sara and Joy are back for their fourth and final season of Girlz TV, premiering Sunday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. The season opener features the launch of the Ultimate Talent Search, a call for best friends across Canada to audition to become the show’s new hosts. Season four follows a reality TV format, tracking the progress of the auditions, culminating in the passing of the torch to the winners. Tune in and help pick the next hosts of Girlz TV!

Karate Kid II (1986)

In Problem Child II, bratty Junior (Michael Oliver) and even brattier Trixie (Ivyann Schwan) will stop at nothing to get their parents, Ben (John Ritter) and Annie (Amy Yasbeck) together…even if it means sabotaging Ben’s relationship with super-rich, child-hating LaWanda (Laraine Newman)! Dora, Boots and their friends are putting on a pirate show for their parents when the Pirate Piggies swoop in and steal their treasure chest of costumes right before the show! Always up for an adventure, Dora and her friends sing and sail their way across the seven seas in pursuit of the Pirate Piggies and their costumes; the show must go on!
On Sunday, November 28 at 4 p.m., tune in for THREE BRAND NEW back-to-back episodes of Thomas & Friends:
Difficulties at 4 p.m.: Thomas is having a hard time moving truckloads of stinky fish; Skarloey must overcome his fear of an old bridge; and Emily learns a lesson about being rude to others.
Helping at 4:30 p.m.: James regrets not having helped his friends when he runs into some problems; Thomas’ quick thinking wins him a medal, and he must learn to rely on his friends for help when he mixes up his jobs.
The Weather at 5 p.m.: Thomas is sad when he misses a trip to the seaside when he has to help deliver ingredients to an ice cream factory, but cheers up when he arrives at the beach with lots of ice cream. Salty is upset when Thomas and Percy make fun of him, but saves the day by helping them during a storm.

DISCOVERY KIDS PRESENTS NEW SEASONS OF TRADING SPACES: BOYS VS. GIRLS AND ENDURANCE
Two of the most popular and talked about reality shows return to Discovery Kids with BRAND NEW episodes. On Saturday, November 6, tune in for the Canadian premiere of Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls: Season Three, where the guys battle the girls in an exciting interior decorating challenge! Equipped with boundless imagination and enthusiasm, the young decorators swap rooms, and, aided by a hip designer, professional carpenters and a $5,000 budget, redecorate! New episodes of Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls can be seen on Discovery Kids on Saturdays at noon and
6 p.m.
Also on November 6, tune in for the Canadian premiere of Endurance: Season Three, the hit reality series that separates teens from their families, friends and cell phones, and follows a group of 20 kids aged 12 to 15 as they test themselves physically and psychologically competing in games of skill, speed, intelligence and strength. New episodes of Endurance can be seen on Discovery Kids each Saturday at 9:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. starting November 6.
