Where the ladies do much more than lunch: Jam & Jerusalem comes to VisionTV starting October 6
Posted on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 - 06:37 PM
Vision TV

Written by Jennifer Saunders and starring some of the best-loved names in comedy, Jam & Jerusalem takes an affectionate, yet hysterical look at village life and the empathy and togetherness found in a local community where everyone knows everyone's business.

Clatterford is a small town, but big enough to have a good cross section of people, local shops and a late night convenience store - a place which also has a thriving Women's Guild. When Sal's husband dies suddenly of a heart attack, she is forced to give up her role as practice nurse at the local surgery. Without a job and feeling very much alone, Sal slowly realizes that she needs the support of the Women's Guild as much as they need her, so she decides to join them and give the Guild a try...

The Women's Guild: its ideals are to promote truth, justice, tolerance and fellowship - or is it just an excuse for a good old gossip?

Jam & Jerusalem
Thursdays at 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT
Starting October 6, 2011

The series stars Sue Johnston (The Street), Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous), Dawn French (The Vicar of Dibley), Pauline McLynn (Father Ted), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous), and Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’).
