MuchMore has a hot new summer gig lined up and TSN SportCentre co-host Jay Onrait is the man for the job. Starting Sunday, July 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Onrait is working double duty with a summer job as host of MuchMore’s new half-hour original series, THE WEEK THAT WAS. From Bieber to Barack, from pop culture to local news, it’s all fair game for Onrait’s biting commentary as he takes a chunk out of each day of the week that was. Viewers can get more of THE WEEK THAT WAS with online extras, blogs and updates on muchmore.ca.

Jay Onrait is no stranger to recapping events with a unique point of view and humour. As the co-host of TSN’s SportsCentre, Jay Onrait’s irreverent personality has not only amassed a following among TSN watchers, but also on Twitter with a following of more than 63,000 users.

Last year, Onrait also served as co-host of OLYMPIC MORNING on CTV during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. That same year, Onrait was rewarded for his outstanding contributions to the world of sports with a Gemini Award nomination for Best Sportscaster/Anchor.

For updates, behind the scene photos and tomfoolery on the set of THE WEEK THAT WAS, fans and spectators can follow Jay on Twitter.
