Programming highlights for 2004-2005 include the third season of The Wire as well as a few HBO original movies.
ReGenesis – A Movie Central Commissioned Series

Starring Peter Outerbridge (Men With Brooms), and Maxim Roy (Snakes and Ladders).
Life and Death of Peter Sellers – An HBO Original Film
The Life and Death of Peter Sellers traces the British comic’s turbulent rise from popular BBC radio performer to one of the world’s most gifted comedic actors. The film, featured at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, unveils the private torments that prompted this talented, charismatic actor to exclaim, “I hate everything I do,” yet still reminds us why the world embraced him, elevating him to international cultural icon. Starring Geoffrey Rush (Shine), Charlize Theron (Monster), John Lithgow (3rd Rock from the Sun) and Emily Watson (Punch-Drunk Love).
Dirty War – An HBO Original Film
A suspenseful thriller, Dirty War is a film about today’s headlines – terrorism, fear, and preventing horrifying disasters. This film captures the suspense, urgency and fear of British antiterrorist experts and London emergency services as they struggle to prevent and cope with the detonation of a radiation-contaminated terrorist bomb in London.
Thought Crimes – An HBO Original Film
In post-9/11 America, what you're thinking can land you in jail. In Thought Crimes, acclaimed
director Sidney Lumet and Oz creator Tom Fontana explore the current state of the United
States since the terrorist attacks on the country. This film examines three people - an artist
looking to make a statement, a fan obsessed with a movie star, and a young man convicted of
possessing child pornography - as they come up against authorities intent on punishing them as
much for their intentions as for their deeds.
The Wire: Season 3 – An HBO Original Series
This unvarnished, highly realistic HBO drama series follows a single sprawling drug and murder
investigation in Baltimore – one that culminates in a complex series of dangerous wiretaps and
surveillance. Told from the points of view of both the police and their targets, the series captures
a universe where easy distinctions between good and evil, and crime and punishment, are challenged at every turn. Season three will continue the show’s detailed examination of a city’s
underground drug economy, as well as examine the idea of reform and the role of the political
leadership in addressing the city’s problems.
