/A\ Vancouver Island Wins Best Newscast at National RTNDA Awards in Edmonton

The Radio-Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) announced tonight the winners of the national 2009 RTNDA Awards with /A\ Vancouver Island landing the Best Newscast Award for medium markets.
"It's the deepest commitment to providing exceptional local news coverage that makes /A\ newscasts across the country so popular with their audiences," said National Head, /A\ News, Richard Gray. "For the RTNDA to recognize, along with our viewers, our passion for excellence helps reinforce our commitment to excellence in all of our newsrooms."
