This April, Movie Central delivers the exciting new series Gravity, the electrifying season finale of Spartacus: Blood and Sand and the premiere of the Movie Central supported Canadian film Fakers. Plus, premiere movies including Terminator Salvation starring Christian Bale and State of Play starring Rachel McAdams and Oscar®-winners Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren. Movie Central is also celebrating Earth Day with the premiere of the eco-conscious documentary Blue Gold: World Water Wars.
SERIES PREMIERE
GRAVITY
Gravity is a 10-episode, half-hour series from Starz about a group of characters brought together by the fact that they have all tried to commit suicide, and now must attend a court ordered support group. The series follows two star crossed lovers (Robert and Lily), and a colourful supporting cast as they learn to live and love again in New York City. The cast of Gravity includes Krysten Ritter, Ivan Sergei, Ving Rhames and Rachel Hunter.

SEASON FINALE
SPARTACUS
Season 1 of the hit Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand comes to a powerful end. Spartacus and Crixus are matched in a fight to the death; both agree to fulfill the others wishes should he fall. Meanwhile, Batiatus’ plan to weaken Crixus before the fight triggers an incredible series of events.

EARTH DAY
Movie Central celebrates Earth Day with the premiere of Blue Gold: World Water Wars (2008), the documentary from Mongrel Media about the future of water. Written and directed by Sam Bozzo, the documentary shines a light on private investors, corporate giants and corrupt governments vying to control the dwindling supply of fresh water, building an argument that the next natural resource to start conflicts will be water. Blue Gold: World Water Wars premieres on Movie Central on Saturday, April 24 at 9:30 p.m. PT.
CANADIAN FILM PREMIERE
FAKERS (2010)
Cousins Tanner (Greyston Holt) and Ben (Andrew Francis) are in their last year at an exclusive private school. Tanner is a good student who keeps his nose clean, but Ben is perpetually involved in shady get-rich-quick schemes. After sleeping with the ex-girlfriend of The Lesbian (Gregory Smith) and gambling his way into debt, Ben’s life is on the line if he doesn’t come up with the cash fast. He has a scheme he thinks will fix everything, he just needs help from Tanner. With the help of the headmistress’s daughter Emma (Alexia Fast), the cousins start a counterfeiting ring. They soon find themselves being pulled into a dangerous criminal underworld where both cops and thugs are out to get them.
