CTV and Rogers Partner to Accelerate Production and Distribution of HDTV Content
Posted on Friday, December 12, 2003 - 01:04 PM
High Definition Television

CTV Specialty Television Inc. and Rogers Broadcasting Ltd. announced today that they have signed an agreement under which the division of Rogers Media will invest in 50 per cent of CTV Specialty's mobile production and distribution business, operated through Dome Productions Inc. The transaction is expected to close in early January 2004.

Dome is a full-service mobile production and distribution company, equipped with the people, resources, technical expertise, and facility experience to handle production requirements of varying size and complexity. Dome currently services a variety of Canadian, American, and International clients ranging from broadcasters, to sports television networks, to episodic television producers, to business television clients, offering a wide range of technically advanced mobile production facilities and distribution options.

The partnership intends to grow and expand as it invests in and operates high definition television (HDTV) production equipment, further securing its position as Canada's leading provider of mobile production and distribution services.
