On the heels of a super successful – and controversial – MTV VMAs in September, the 2009 MTV EMAs stream live on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. ET onmtvema.ca and at 7 p.m. ET on MuchMusic. Girl-lover Katy Perry is scheduled to host the show from Berlin, Germany. For everything MTV EMAs related, go to the official Canadian website at mtvema.ca.

Viewers can expect performances by hip hop rock impresario Jay-Z, the famed Foo Fighters, sexy superstar Shakira, Oakland-based Green Day, British sweetheart Leona Lewis, Germany’s own Tokio Hotel, and a historic performance at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate by Irish rock legends U2. Presenters include Backstreet Boys, Juliette Lewis, Miranda Cosgrove, and Monica Bellucci. Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz hosts the 2009 EMA: ALL ACCESS digital show giving fans the ultimate backstage pass. Tune to mtvema.ca to see all the action go down.
