Legendary stage and screen actress Angela Lansbury cemented her iconic status playing mystery author and amateur sleuth Jessica Fletcher in this long-running whodunit series. Tonight: Two of TV's biggest mothers, Shirley Jones (The Partridge Family) and Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) guest star as Jessica tries to help a mentally challenged man accused of murder.

The Best of British Comedy - My Husband and I

Mollie Sugden (best known as Betty Slocombe on the long-running Are You Being Served?) stars here as Nora Powers, the officious head of personnel at a prestigious advertising agency. Nora's personal and professional lives collide unhappily when her husband George (played by Sugden's real-life husband, William Moore) joins the company as chief doorman. Tonight: Nora decides to crack the whip, but soon finds that she's no match for the girls in the typing pool.

Comedy Series - Jeeves and Wooster

Before he was House M.D., Hugh Laurie starred in this award-winning series, adapted from the stories and novels of P.G. Wodehouse. In this charmingly unpretentious slice of working-class British life, bus driver Stan Butler (Reg Varney) and cheerfully lecherous conductor Jack Harper (Bob Grant) conspire to do as little real work as possible while avoiding the wrath of their nemesis, the tyrannical Inspector Blake (Stephen Lewis). Tonight: How timely is this? Flu strikes the women of the Butler household, forcing Stan to deal with housework.

The Best of British Comedy - 'Allo, 'Allo!

A hilarious send-up of World War Two dramas, 'Allo, 'Allo! stars Gorden Kaye as René, the owner of a small café in Occupied France. Tonight: Alfonse is eliminated by an exploding bedpan.

Movie - A Man For All Seasons
9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT
Fans of The Tudors will want to check out this 1966 adaptation of Robert Bolt's stage play, which earned six Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for its star, Paul Scofield. Directed by Fred Zinnemann, it tells the story of Sir Thomas More (Scofield) and his fateful battle of wills with King Henry VIII. Wendy Hiller, Leo McKern, Robert Shaw, Orson Welles and John Hurt also star.

Movie - The Big Heat

Canadian-born Glenn Ford stars as Dave Bannion, an honest cop fighting corruption, in this noir classic from legendary director Fritz Lang (Metropolis). Bannion refuses to look the other way when a suspicious suicide implicates the local crime lord, and his moral stand soon threatens everything he loves. With Gloria Grahame and Lee Marvin.

God must really hate the parishioners of Craggy Island. Why else would He send them the scheming Father Ted (played by the late, great Dermot Morgan) and his colleagues, dim-witted Father Dougal (Ardal O'Hanlon) and demented Father Jack (Frank Kelly)? Voted one of the best Britcoms of all time, the irreverent, award-winning Father Ted is sinfully funny. Tonight: Temptation rears its head for Ted when alluring novelist Polly Clarke (Gemma Craven) settles on Craggy Island.
