Astral Media’s Family Channel invites viewers to the magical world of fairies in the Canadian broadcast premiere of Disney’s animated movie,Tinker Bell. This animated movie for the whole family features the voices of America Ferrera, Raven-Symoné, Kristin Chenoweth, Mae Whitman, Lucy Liu and Anjelica Huston. Tinker Bell premieres Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

In Tinker Bell, viewers meet the enchanting creatures of Pixie Hollow, who “nurture nature” and bring about the change of the seasons. Tinker Bell thinks her fairy talent as a “tinker” isn’t as special or important as the other fairies’ talents. But when Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman, In Treatment, Avatar: The Last Airbender) tries to change who she is, she creates nothing but disaster. With encouragement from her friends Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth, Pushing Daisies), Silvermist (Lucy Liu, Charlie’s Angels), Fawn (America Ferrera, Ugly Betty) and Iridessa (Raven-Symoné, That’s So Raven). Tink learns the key to solving her problems lies in her unique tinker abilities and discovers that when she’s true to herself, magical things can happen.

Tinker Bell is executive produced by multiple Oscar®-winner John Lasseter (WALL·E, Up), and narrated by Canadian music artist Loreena McKennitt. Also starring is Anjelica Huston as Queen Clarion.
