Children Of Men Makes its Canadian Television Broadcast Premiere on Bravo!, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. ET
Posted on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 - 09:11 AM
Bravo!

The year: 2027. The state of humanity: dire. In a world where procreation ceases to exist, live Children Of Men. The thrill-packed, OSCAR®-nominated motion picture, staring Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, and Michael Caine makes its Canada television broadcast premiere Sunday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo!, repeating Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 a.m. ET/11 p.m. PT.

Set in the United Kingdom, one of the only organized societies left on the planet, Children Of Men explores a chaotic world of human infertility that has left civilization with less than a century to survive. Millions of refugees entered the UK seeking asylum, causing Britain to become a militarized state. The plot thickens when Theo Faron (Owen) is captured by the Fishes, an underground resistance group lead by his estranged wife Julian Taylor (Moore). Together, they must transport a miraculously pregnant African refugee to a sanctuary at sea, where her child's birth may help scientists save the future of humankind. Children Of Men, directed by Alfonso Cuarón (Y Tu Mama Tambien and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), is based on the novel The Children of Men by P.D. James.
