Gobble Up Some Filmic Flops with the Thanksgiving TURKEY-THON, Oct. 12 on SPACE

Get ready to chow down and veg out this Thanksgiving Monday as SPACE cooks up its first-ever TURKEY-THON, Monday, Oct. 12 starting at 11 a.m. ET. Viewers voted for the top five best-worst movies and the chefs at SPACE have prepared the final TURKEY-THON menu. Coming in at number five, The Adventures of Pluto Nash starts things off at 11 a.m. ET. After fixin’s from the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Hugh Jackman, the TURKEY-THON feast wraps up with the big turkey itself, the SPACE premiere of Battlefield Earth at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Counting down from number five, here are SPACE’s top turkeys:

11 a.m. ET - The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002)
Set in the future, a man struggles to keep his nightclub in space from mafia control. Starring Eddie Murphy, Randy Quaid and Rosario Dawson.

1 p.m. ET- Conan the Destroyer (1984)
Conan leads a ragtag group of adventurers on a quest for a princess. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Grace Jones and Wilt Chamberlain.

3:15 p.m. ET- Van Helsing (2004)
The notorious monster hunter is sent to Transylvania to stop Count Dracula from using Dr. Frankenstein's research and a werewolf for sinister purposes. Starring Hugh Jackman, Kate Beckinsale and Richard Roxburgh.

6 p.m. ET- Alien vs. Predator (2004)
During an archaeological expedition on Bouvetøya Island in the Antarctic, a team of archaeologists and other scientists find themselves caught in a battle between the two legends. Starring Sanaa Lathan, Raoul Bova and Lance Henriksen.

8:15 p.m. ET - Battlefield Earth (2000)
Based on L. Ron Hubbard’s novel of the same name, Battlefield Earth has the distinction of being one of the biggest box-office flops of all time. After enslavement and near extermination by an alien race in the year 3000, humanity begins to fight back. Starring John Travolta, Barry Pepper and Forest Whitaker.
