Beckett on Film

This fall BookTelevision: the channel is proud to present Beckett on Film, a celebration of the works of Nobel-prize-winning playwright Samuel Beckett. In this unique series, all 19 of Beckett plays are adapted by such acclaimed directors as Atom Egoyan, Neil Jordan, and David Mamet. From the emotional terror of Ohio Impromptu to the cerebral wordplay of Waiting for Godot, Beckett on Film presents a unique opportunity to explore the breadth and scope of the works of a theatrical genius. Featuring stunning performances from Alan Rickman, John Gielgud, Julianne Moore, Kristin Scott Thomas, Jeremy Irons and others, Beckett on Film is a television event not to be missed.
