| Showcase Unveils its Fall 2009 Programming Highlights |

This fall, Showcase adds The Foundation, Crash & Burn, seasons 1 through 4 of Bones, the first six seasons of NCIS and the first four seasons of Law & Order: SVU. You can also expect to see, for the first time of Canada, new seasons of Weeds, Saving Grace, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Kenny vs Penny, Curb Your Enthusiasm and much more!
Brand New Series
The Foundation (5x30min) [HD]

From director Mike Dowes comes a brand new Showcase original comedy series that takes on the elite world of philanthropy, where sincerity, sentimentality and immense altruism are intertwined with petty egos and greed. The series tells the story of Michael Valmont-Selkirk (Mike Wilmot), an irresponsible, corrupt man holding the reins of a powerful non-profit organization.

Crash & Burn is the story of Jimmy Burns, a young claims adjuster for a cut-throat corporation. Jimmy maneuvers his way around insurance scams and the criminal underworld all while trying to escape his past and make a better life for himself on the gritty streets of Hamilton.

A darkly amusing drama with humour, heart and character, Bones features Dr. Temperance Brennan, a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works with FBI Agent Seeley Booth on murder investigations. When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless, Brennan uses her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. As well as seasons one through four of Law & Order: SVU.

Canadian Alanis Morissette also guest stars as an obstetrician who looks after a pregnant Nancy.

Larry David returns to Showcase in the sixth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. When an African-American family named the Blacks are displaced by “Hurricane Edna,” they end up moving in with Larry and Cheryl, and Larry has a lot to say about their new house guests. Season six also finds Larry vexed by a dry cleaner who loses his Yankees jersey, the Davids trying to atone for a missed dinner party by showing up a day late and Larry stealing flowers from a car-crash memorial.
