| It's a Big, Fat Celebrity Cookout with Four of the Best Comedy Roasts This August |

Caution: roasts in this release may not be suitable for delicate palates! The smell of burning egos fills the airwaves in four, fan-favourite COMEDY CENTRAL ROASTS as part of The Comedy Network’s SUNDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN. Starting Sunday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, a celebrity roastee is tossed in the ring of fire weekly by some of the nastiest comedians in the business.
FLAVOR FLAV is first up on the skewer. Best known as hype-man for rap group Public Enemy and for his reality show Flavor of Love, Flavor Flav is a sitting duck. Airing Sunday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the roast, hosted by Katt Williams and featuring roasters Ice-T, Jimmy Kimmel, Snoop Dogg, Carrot Top, serves him up nice and crispy. One ego-deflating moment comes when Lisa Lampanelli announces: “Flav, enough with the clock, you can take it off, you haven’t had to be anywhere in 13 years.”
It’s a blue collar roasting as members of the Blue Comedy Tour rope in JEFF FOXWORTHY on Sunday, August 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White take the reins with other roasters Nick DiPaolo, Lisa Lampanelli, also giving their share of digs. Once again it’s Lampanelli taking a stab at Foxworthy with the quip, “Usually, I feel bad when guys don’t want to ***** me; tonight I feel lucky.”
The Shat hits the fan’ when the ROAST OF WILLIAM SHATNER airs on Sunday, August 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise faces roast master Jason Alexander and his roasting disciples Farrah Fawcett, Greg Giraldo, Patton Oswalt and more. Shatner’s weight is the butt of every joke, with Jeff Ross taking the biggest bite, “when did you go from Captain Kirk to Captain Crunch?”
It’s a full-on slaughter as Pamela Anderson gets clubbed by roast master Jimmy Kimmel in the ROAST OF PAMELA ANDERSON on Sunday, August 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Taking part in the ego attack are roasters Courtney Love, Bea Arthur, Sarah Silverman, Tommy Lee, Andy Dick and many more. Highlights include Bea Arthur reading sexually explicit excerpts from Anderson's "novel" and Andy Dick french-kissing Jeff Ross.
