Michael Caine and Tobey Maguire star in this story of Homer,a young man raised in an orphanage by an eccentric doctor.The doctor is a loving patriarch who is grooming Homer to become his successor.But the young man needs to experience life,so he leaves the orphanage and heads to an apple farm where he learns about both the sweetness and pain of life.

In this award-winning black comedy from the Coen brothers,a car salesman (William H.Macy)hires a pair of thugs to kidnap his wife in order to extort money from his wealthy but stingy father-in-law.When three people wind up murdered,the local,pregnant police chief (Frances McDormand)picks up the investigation.Fargo was nominated for seven Academy Awards.
