This August Movie Central continues with a new premiere every night, including Oscar® winners Vicky Cristina Barcelona and The Wrestler and Canadian films Banshee, Nurse.Fighter.Boy, and Hank and Mike. August also brings the season finale for the Canadian original series Durham County, starring home grown star Hugh Dillon; the dark comedy Nurse Jackie, starring Edie Falco; and the show that debunks common myths and misconceptions Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t!
CANADIAN ORIGINAL SERIES - SEASON FINALE
DURHAM COUNTY SEASON 2
Durham County, the award-winning dramatic series, concludes its six-part second season with the highly anticipated trial of Ray Prager. Sadie Sweeney struggles with her faith in her father Mike (Hugh Dillon), but pushes past her fears to testify against Ray in the trial. Mike and his partner Tom try to con the increasingly sinister Pen Verrity (Michelle Forbes) into confessing her involvement in two murders.

NURSE JACKIE
Nurse Jackie closes its six-part first season with an old co-worker, who is dying of lung cancer, and asks for Jackie’s (Edie Falco) assistance in her suicide. Luckily, when the day arrives Jackie gets help from Dr. O’Hara, who brings some humor and style to the miserable situation. Meanwhile, when his mom (Blythe Danner) is admitted with a gall bladder attack it’s discovered that Coop is the only son of a lesbian, which utterly delights Jackie and O’Hara.
