| West Coast Baseball is Back With 50 Games, All in High Definition |

The Seattle Mariners begin their 50-game schedule on Rogers Sportsnet when they take on the Oakland A’s Friday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m (PT) on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet Pacific HD.
After finishing at the bottom of the AL West last season, hopes are high in Seattle with the return of the prodigal son, Ken Griffey Jr., the 1997 American League Most Valuable Player. Griffey was originally a member of the Mariners from 1989 to 1999. During that time, he led the Mariners to their first two playoff appearances in franchise history as well as winning Gold Gloves for fielding excellence and making the All Star Team in each of his full seasons with the team.
Assisting Griffey out on offence will be two players who helped Japan win their second consecutive World Baseball Classic, outfielder Ichiro Suzuki and catcher Kenji Johjima. The Mariners pitching staff will be anchored by ace Felix Hernandez, Canadian Erik Bedard and reliable veterans Jarrod Washburn and Carlos Silva.
The broadcast schedule for the rest of April will feature four other Mariner games on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet Pacific HD:
· @ Oakland A’s Sunday, April 12 @ 1:00 p.m. (PT)
· vs. Detroit Tigers Friday, April 17 @ 7:30 p.m. (PT)
· vs. Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday, April 21 @ 7:30 p.m. (PT)
· vs. Tampa Bay Rays Wednesday, April 22 @ 7:30 p.m. (PT)
