Canada’s East Coast has joined the high-definition revolution, as Halifax-based telecommunications firm EastLink launches High Fidelity HDTV’s suite of HD channels.

With its expansive reach across Atlantic Canada, EastLink’s High Definition subscribers will now be able to enjoy a suite of HD channels that offers the finest nature, culture, and adventure programming from around the world. Oasis HD, Equator HD and Rush HD not only offer some of the most spectacular programming available, but broadcast in true HD, providing stunning picture and audio.

“The demand for high definition programming continues to grow and with the addition of these new channels we are giving customers the power to experience the best television has to offer,” said Ian Lezama, Director of Marketing with EastLink. “There is something for every taste including history, adventure, and sports programming.”

“We’re very pleased to be expanding further into Atlantic Canada with EastLink,” says High Fidelity HDTV Partner Ken Murphy. “Our suite of channels will provide EastLink subscribers with some of the world’s best HD programming, and let them more fully enjoy the value of their home theatres.”
