The Valentines aren’t your average family! Under the guise of private investigators they go to extremes to bring soulmates together. Their vested interest in matters of the heart stems from their true identities; Grace Valentine (Jamie Murray, “Dexter”), the Goddess Aphrodite, is the sexy and seductive matriarch of the family; her son Danny Valentine (Kristopher Polaha, “North Shore”), the arrow-slinging Eros, has traded up for a magical gun that makes people temporarily fall in love; Danny's best friend Leo (Robert Baker “Leatherheads”), the muscle man Hercules, is the strong and emotional moral compass of the group; and Phoebe Valentine (Autumn Reeser, “The O.C.”), the Goddess of the Oracle at Delphi, which helps the family track down and help bring soulmates together. Falling in love may seem like child’s play, but to the Valentines it is serious business.

28 year-old Morgan Buffkin (Jeff Hephner, "The O.C.") finds himself at the helm of his eccentric family’s enormously successful loan business, Prestige Payday Loans. Managing a business is complicated, but Morgan soon finds out that managing family business may prove even more difficult. From his sister Brandy’s (Katie Lowes, "The Ghost Whisperer") questionable morals and his brother’s frivolous choice in cars, to his suspicion that his parents are hiding something about his past along with the frequent visits from part-time detective Barry (Judge Reinhold,“Swing Vote”), Morgan finds out that money is about the only thing that comes easy in his life!
