Global Television Network

As with the past two seasons, you can expect fabulous recipes and handy tips from Host and Chef, Lesia Burlak. This season again features some `not to be missed' guests, including some of Canada's leading food experts and cookbook authors.

Stay tuned for episodes highlighting special events and topics such as, Oktoberfest, with returning guest Executive Chef Shawn Whalen, or cooking with fresh herbs, with Yvonne Tremblay, cookbook author and herb expert. Gain insight into Canada's boutique cheese industry with cookbook author and Canada's Cheese Ambassador, Gurth Pretty.

You also won't want to miss the episodes that unravel some `mysteries of the kitchen'. Everyone should know how to select the perfect cut of meat; and beef purveyor, Rob Brady, is the man to inform you! What's the best way to fillet a halibut? Third generation fishmonger, Corey Jardine has the answer.

For those of you who think dessert should be the main course, you definitely won't want to miss the step-by-step method of building the perfect black bottom pecan pie, voted `best on the planet', with pie maker, Wanda Beaver.

Then stay with us as we explore cuisine from different parts of the world with regional delicacies such as Moroccan tajine, with chef, James Piggott, or South American street fare, with chef and food correspondent, Maribel Linfield.

Foodies™ - Sunday mornings on Global and Saturday mornings on E! (check local listings for airtimes)
