One: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel is a digital television service for Canadians who want to be challenged, inspired and motivated to realize their true potential. Its unique programming is devoted to wellness, personal growth and spiritual health.

Coming to One: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel in October:

Jeremiah
Wednesdays, starting Oct. 1, 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. ET / 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. PT

It is the year 2021. More than a decade ago, a global pandemic wiped out everyone over the age of puberty. Now, a generation of young adults is struggling to build a new civilization on the wreckage of their parents' world. That's the intriguing premise of Jeremiah, a science fiction adventure series from writer/producer J. Michael Straczynski, creator of Babylon 5. Luke Perry stars as Jeremiah, a grief-haunted loner who embarks on a search for the mysterious haven known as the Valhalla Sector. He is joined in his quest by the cynical Kurdy (The Cosby Show's Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and the eccentric Mister Smith (Sean Astin from The Lord of the Rings), a mysterious figure who claims to speak with God. A compelling blend of action and thought-provoking drama, Jeremiah features guest stars such as Peter Stebbings (Rabbit Fall), Robert Wisden (Smallville), John Pyper-Ferguson (Brothers & Sisters) and Battlestar Galactica alums Tricia Helfer, Kandyse McClure and Alessandro Juliani.

Wednesday is drama night on One: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel, with prime time highlights that include the popular medical series Doc, starring Billy Ray Cyrus, and the award-winning Australian hit McLeod's Daughters.
