More Details About IFC's Fall 2008 Programming

In early june, Canwest revealed information about fall programming of its specialty channels. Today, we give more details about the new and returning programming as well as premiere dates (when available).

FALL 2008 BRAND NEW SERIES

The Rawside Of … (8x60min) World Premiere

The Rawside Of… is an uncensored and raw glimpse into the hearts, minds and lives of music stars and their conflicts. Get at the very core of an artist’s existence through uncensored conversations and unlimited access. Witness the private lives and process, and the intense exploration of music as we penetrate the ever-present buffer zone. Featured bands will include The Cliks, Die Mannequin, Brendan Canning from Broken Social Scene, Born Ruffians, Metric and more.

Vice Guide To Film

INK: Alter Egos Exposed

Mondays 8 p.m. ET beginning September 1
This highly stylized IFC original documentary series explores comic book culture, the creators of comics and comic trends. Hugh Dillon (Durham County) narrates each episode and explores themes, such as heroes within comics, politics, gender portrayal and the social relevance of comics. INK: Alter Egos Exposed is mandatory viewing for both the novice and the serious comic book reader.
