In early june, Canwest revealed information about fall programming of its specialty channels. Today, we give more details about the new and returning programming as well as premiere dates (when available).

Talk Sex With Sue Johanson
Mondays at 11pm ET beginning September 1
Sue Johanson is Canada's foremost sexual educator, counselor and recipient of the distinguished Order of Canada. For the last 30 years, she has provided frank and honest sexual education to thousands of Canadians through her lectures, radio programs and TV shows. Talk Sex with Sue Johanson is an educational talk show about everything that has to do with sex. People call into the show and ask questions about sex, and Sue answers them. At the end of the show, Sue has a segment where she shows sex toys and how to use them.

Autopsy: Life And Death
Four episodes
Sundays at 4pm ET beginning September 28

This is a four-part series exploring the reality of disease and death through a series of dissections of human cadavers by anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, illuminated by British pathologist Professor John Lee. The series was filmed before an invited audience at the Institute of Plastination in Heidelberg, Germany.

Celebrity Fit Club

Take a bunch of celebrities – all overweight and out of shape and put them on an intensive course at Celebrity Fit Club. As the weight comes off (they hope), so do the inhibitions. Run by healthcare professionals, the club aims to help them lose weight and get back into fitness. Viewers watch their weekly struggle – and occasional tantrum – and cheer them on as the weight comes off.

Dr. 90210 is a reality television series focusing on plastic surgery in the wealthy suburb of Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California.

Desperate Midwives
Mondays at 9pm ET beginning September 1
Desperate Midwivesis an observational documentary series which looks at the emotionally intense, sometimes precarious and often hilarious work of midwives. The series is set at the labour ward of Derby City General hospital and follows the midwives and the many different types of moms and births they deal with on a daily basis. This really is the truth about childbirth.
