August is Star Wars Month on Space

SPACE joins forces with Warner Bros. to present a week of Star Wars programming to mark the August 15 theatrical premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Starting Monday, August 4, all six previously released Star Wars films air on SPACE. Inside Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a half-hour behind-the-scenes look at the making of the latest film in the epic franchise, airs Friday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT, exclusively on SPACE.

During the week of Star Wars programming, SPACE viewers have a chance to enter online to win a home entertainment theatre system and tickets to the premiere screening. Contest closes on July 31. Details are available on www.spacecast.com.

Monday, August 4
2 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT - Star Wars IV: A New Hope **SPACE PREMIERE**
Luke Skywalker leaves his home planet, teams up with other rebels, and tries to save Princess Leia from the evil clutches of Darth Vader. Stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher. (1977)

4: 45 p.m. ET / 2:45 p.m. PT - Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back **SPACE PREMIERE**
While Luke takes advanced Jedi training from Yoda, his friends are relentlessly pursued by Darth Vader. Stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher. (1980)

7:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT - Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi **SPACE PREMIERE**
After rescuing Han Solo from the palace of Jabba the Hutt, the Rebels attempt to destroy the Second Death Star, while Luke Skywalker tries to bring his father back to the Light Side of the Force. Stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher. (1983)

Follows the formative years of Anakin Skywalker and the development of his friendships with Obi-wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Qui-Gon Jinn. Senator Palpatine begins to gather power on his rise to Emperor. Stars Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, and Natalie Portman. (1999)

10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT - Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones **SPACE PREMIERE**
Anakin Skywalker begins a forbidden romance with Padmé Amidala. Anakin's teacher, Obi-Wan Kenobi, investigates a separatist assassination attempt on Padmé which leads to the discovery of a secret Republican clone army. Stars Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, and Ewan McGregor. (2002)

Sunday, August 10
9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT - Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith **SPACE PREMIERE**
After three years of fighting in the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker concludes his journey towards the Dark Side of the Force, putting his friendship with Obi Wan Kenobi and his marriage to Padmé at risk. Stars Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, and Natalie Portman. (2005)
