| Jays, MLB, EPL, and CHL on-tap for hungry sports viewers this week-end on SportsNet |

Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD swing for the fences with an exciting weekend in sports starting on Friday, May 2 at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT when the Toronto Blue Jays open a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox.
With over 20 hours of live-events in-store, including the Jays on Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD, Major League Baseball, the English Premier League and the Canadian Hockey League, viewers need not turn anywhere else.
Saturday, May 3 kicks-off at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT with English Premier League soccer action featuring Reading and Tottenham. Preceded and followed by Soccercentral, Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest will update fans on all the pertinent goings-on in the world of footie.
Following the morning EPL match, attention turns to the Jays on Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD, who continue their series at Rogers Centre versus the White Sox on Saturday, May 3 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Toronto’s task will be tough as headed into play on Thursday, the White Sox led the American League’s Central Division with a record of 14-12.
Saturday’s baseball coverage continues with key divisional match-ups including the Boston Red Sox facing the surging Tampa Bay Rays at 7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet East, Ontario, and Sportsnet HD. In the National League, Sportsnet West and Pacific will feature an NL West Division battle between the Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT.
Sunday, May 4 picks-up where Saturday left-off, starting with the third of four games between the White Sox and Jays at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD. A key OHL playoff battle will follow baseball at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT as Game 3 of the Rogers OHL Championship Series between the Belleville Bulls and the Kitchener Rangers begins on Rogers Sportsnet. In what could be a preview of a match-up at the 2008 MasterCard Memorial Cup, both teams will search for the winning edge in their pivotal playoff series.
Sunday evening closes when the St. Louis Cardinals host the Chicago Cubs on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD. ESPN’s Jon Miller calls the play-by-play and Joe Morgan has the analysis of this final match-up to cap off a sports fan’s dream weekend.
