The biggest stars in country music shine at “The 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards” broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, May 18th on Citytv.

Country music icon and star of the stage and screen, Reba McEntire returns as host of "The 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" for an unprecedented 10th time. Joining Reba in the celebrations are some of country music's hottest megastars and award nominees. Confirmed performers include: Rodney Atkins, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry and Dolly Parton.
Celebrating all facets of the genre, this year’s nominees prove that country music is a force to be reckoned with. Leading the nominations is Kenny Chesney with 11 nods, followed by Rodney Atkins with six, Brad Paisley, Big & Rich and Sugarland with four, and Miranda Lambert, George Strait and Taylor Swift with three. Plus, multi-platinum country music sensation Rascal Flatts will be honoured with the Academy of Country Music/Home Depot ® Humanitarian Award for their ongoing community service and charitable giving of their time and talent.
"The 43rd Academy of Country Music Awards" is dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in the country music industry. The show is produced for television by Dick Clark Productions and will be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The show is executive produced by R.A. Clark, and produced by Barry Adelman. The executive in charge of production is Bob Bardo.
