Allarco Signs Multi-Year Deal With Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution
Posted on Monday, January 28, 2008 - 09:24 AM
Super Channel

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution and Allarco Entertainment announced today the signing of a multi-year feature film output agreement. Under this new Pay TV deal, a broad selection of Fox feature films will air on Super Channel, Canada’s only national English-language pay television network.

The agreement was concluded by Gina Brogi, SVP Worldwide Pay Television for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, and Sandy Perkins, Vice President Programming for Super Channel.

From heart-warming features like Waitress, The Namesake and Juno, to sci-fi must see films like Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, to all-audience mega-hits like Alvin and the Chipmunks and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, a broad selection of Fox product offers something for every viewer's taste.

This deal builds on the existing relationship between Fox and Allarco that included Super Channel's airing of the television series Burn Notice, one of 2007's most successful new cable dramas.

Commenting on the deal, Fox's Brogi said, "This new Fox-Allarco film agreement is an exciting way to bring Fox movies to Canadian viewers nationwide, and we are very pleased to continue to be a part of Super Channel's success story."

Super Channel's Perkins said, "We are thrilled to have signed with Twentieth Century Fox. This agreement brings Super Channel a significant number of excellent movies and allows us to continue to offer our viewers more choice."
