| Astral Media Reaches Settlement for Family Channel with Videotron |

Astral Media Inc. is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Vidéotron regarding its Family Channel service, which will begin re-broadcasting in the Québec market at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2003. The terms of the agreement with Vidéotron will not be disclosed.
