MTV Live gets Mika this week, Block Party to perform next week

If the name Mika doesn't mean something to you - it should. He's all over the radio, television and internet and now, UK's celebrated new artist Mika will be in MTV Live's studio to perform his hit single Grace Kelly from his new album Life in Cartoon Motion - Wednesday, March 21.

Recently returned from lighting up the South by South West musical festival in Texas, Bloc Party will light up MTV Live's studio on Monday, March 26.
The indie rock band will perform from their recently released second album 'A Weekend in the City' as well as a track or two from their 2005 debut, Silent Alarm. Bloc Party will be in Toronto for a sold out show at the Kool Haus, but you can see them for FREE at MTV Live, ticket info below. MTV Live airs weekdays at 6 p.m. ET

For FREE tickets to be in the MTV Live audience call (416) 355-3979, toll free 1-888-491-6888 or send an e-mail to liveaudience@mtv.ca. Audience members are asked to please be at The Masonic Temple at 888 Yonge Street (corner of Yonge and Davenport) at the Yonge Street entrance at 5:00 p.m. Audience members need to be at least 16 years of age with proper identification to attend tapings.
