Asian Television Network

Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN) is pleased to announce it has received approval from the CRTC to launch Ariana International, a dedicated channel from Kabul Afghanistan. This channel provides 24-hour general interest television composed of daily news, documentaries, entertainment and educational and children's programming.

This will be Canada's first and only television programming direct from Kabul Afghanistan. ATN expects the channel to have significant interest in light of the Canadian presence in Afghanistan and also the current population of Afghan descent in Canada.

Ariana programming is in the Dari, Pushto and English languages and will complement ATN's other channels in various South Asian Languages, as ATN has programming alliances with leading International Broadcasters including Star TV India, ZEE Network, B4U, (Bollywood for You), Jaya TV, ARY Digital, Sony Entertainment Television, New Delhi Television (NDTV), ATN-Bangla and Aastha TV.

ATN, which is Canada's largest South Asian broadcaster, operates thirteen television channels and is the largest promoter and distributor of World Class Cricket across Canada.
