| Posted
on Thursday, September 28, 2006 - 12:00 AM |
On Screen!, a six-part documentary series produced by Soapbox Productions in association with Bravo!, celebrates the most important cultural milestones in Canadian film on Bravo! Sundays at 8pm ET / 5pm PT, beginning October 8th.
Each one-hour episode showcases a quintessentially Canadian feature film, profiling the artists and auteurs who blazed new paths, opened doors and set high standards for a modern generation of storytellers. Along with clips from the films, each episode features interviews with members of the cast and crew, and nationally known critics, including Brian Johnson, Cameron Bailey and Katherine Monk, who reveal the behind-the-scenes trials of how each movie evolved from page to screen. Sad, hilarious or poignant, these are the stories that changed the face of Canadian film forever (www.on-screen.ca).
