Sunday Night Baseball Features Marquee Match-Up as Yankees Host Red Sox

The New York Yankees look to put another nail in the coffin of the Boston Red Sox 2006 season when they host their AL East rivals Sunday, September 17 at 8:00 p.m. (ET)/ 5:00 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD.

New York get little as they travel to Toronto to take on the Jays Monday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. (ET)/ 4:00 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet and Sportsnet HD.

The Bronx Bombers applied a stranglehold on the AL East lead when they went into Fenway in mid-August and swept a five-game series. Since that series New York has posted a respectable 12-8 record while the Red Sox season continued to unravel with just eight wins in their last 21 games.

The play of both clubs over the last month has led to a 10˝ game Yankee lead over the Red Sox for first place in the AL East.
