| Two Spoiled Teens Learn Responsability in New Family Channel Original Movie 'CowBelles' |

Teen actresses and real-life sisters Alyson and Amanda Michalka, also known as Hollywood Records recording artists Aly & AJ, star together – for the first time – in Cow Belles, an original movie making its Canadian television premiere on Astral Media’s Family Channel on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Sixteen-year-old Taylor Callum (Alyson Michalka) is a rich society teen with a head for numbers – especially when it comes to knowing the sale price on her favourite things: clothes, jewelry and shoes. Her 14-year-old sister Courtney (Amanda Michalka) is a whiz with computers and can shop online like nobody’s business. When their father begins to question their freewheeling lifestyle (after they spend too much money and almost burn down the house), he sends the girls to work at the family business – the Callum Creamery – during their summer break.

The girls struggle to adjust to their new lives, but luckily there are cute boys and the transition becomes a lot easier. Things are going pretty smoothly until one day when their father leaves on a trip and someone empties the company’s bank accounts, causing all the employees’ cheques to bounce. With their family’s business in jeopardy, the sisters must put aside their pampered ways to save both the company and their father’s reputation.
Cow Belles is a Disney Channel original movie written by Stu Krieger and Matt Dearborn, directed by Francine McDougall and executive-produced by Sheri Singer White. Cow Belles is a production of Just Singer Entertainment.
