MTV Moves Cheyenne Premiere to June 21
Posted on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 - 03:58 PM
MTV Canada

MTV announced today that its latest reality series Cheyenne will now premiere on Wednesday, June 21 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The scheduling move creates an all-new Wednesday night "10 Spot" destination that pairs Cheyenne with the highly anticipated Laguna Beach spin-off The Hills at 10 p.m. ET/PT on June 21.

About Cheyenne:

MTV's latest reality series Cheyenne is the story of singer-songwriter / musical prodigy, Cheyenne Kimball. Cheyenne chronicles the life of a teenager living your not-so typical teenage life. The series documents the journey and drama that unfolds as Cheyenne takes the next step in her music career with the hope of becoming a major rock star. Cheyenne may have been crowned as America's Most Talented Kid at the tender age of 10, which helped to boost her career from a talented small town girl to a national music prodigy, but her success in this next chapter can make all the difference in whether or not she will one day be playing in that arena in front of a live audience. Find out what she has to say about this success, its affect on her ability to be a "normal" teenager and the issues that make-up her 'new' life experiences.

About The Hills:

The long awaited spin-off of Laguna Beach starring Lauren "LC" Conrad, picks up where Laguna Beach left off with Lauren moving to Los Angeles to attend fashion school with the hopes of a career in the fashion industry. Having already found a great apartment, a new friend to share it with and a killer internship at Teen Vogue, Lauren will have to balance it all and make it happen in the one city they say dreams come true. In addition to introducing new friends in LA, The Hills features the love interests, which causes added drama, and as girls they have to discuss it all - to death - the jobs, school, friends, parties, love and relationships are all dissected and scrutinized in a way that is common to teenagers.
