| MTV Announces Sneak Peak on CTV |

MTV announced today a two-hour sneak preview of its programming will air on CTV this Saturday, March 18 from 9 - 11 p.m. ET (check local listings). CTV viewers will be introduced to the hottest new reality series 8th & Ocean (9 - 9:30), followed by The Gauntlet (9:30 - 10 p.m.) and episode one of the much-hyped series Real World: Key West (10 -11 p.m.).
The Saturday night slot offers Canadians a taste of the soon-to-be revealed "MTV on CTV" branded blocks of programming. As previously announced, MTV on CTV branded blocks are just one platform in the soon to be announced multi-platform return of the MTV brand to Canada. Further details will be revealed when the MTV television network premieres Tuesday, March 21, the first day of Spring.
About 8th & Ocean
The brand new reality series from the team behind MTV's supremely popular reality series Laguna Beach. 8th & Ocean tells the story of 10 young male and female models living together in a beachfront apartment complex in Miami's Southbeach while trying to make it in the cut-throat world of modeling.
About The Gauntlet
Set on the tropical island of Tobago, the series features a showdown between cast members from The Real World and Road Rules. This time around, it's "Rookies" versus "Veterans," as the newcomers face off against seasoned pros in an effort to pull in more than $300,000 in cash and prizes. Host and pro BMX dirt jumper TJ Lavin leads the teams through impossibly difficult challenges, including the dreaded Gauntlet, a Gladiator-like competition that will put the loser into permanent exile.
About Real World: Key West
