NHL Network Unveils Second Half of NCAA Hockey Broadcast Schedule with 28 Games in 2006

NHL Network announced the second half of its comprehensive National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Hockey broadcast schedule featuring 28 games, 18 of which are post-season tilts. The action gets underway this Saturday (Jan. 14) at 6:30 p.m. ET as the University of Nebraska-Omaha takes on Ohio State University.

NHL Network's NCAA hockey broadcast schedule features extensive collegiate playoff coverage, including the CHA Championship, ECAC Championship and the NCAA Division I men's regional semifinals and finals. NHL Network's NCAA hockey coverage comes to a close with extensive coverage of the Men's and Women's NCAA Frozen Four Championships.

NHL Network's NCAA regular season broadcast schedule features three players responsible for bringing a second consecutive IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal back to Canada last week: Sasha Pokulok (Cornell University), Andrew Cogliano (University of Michigan) and Daniel Bertram (Boston College). Additionally, American standouts Jack Johnson (University of
Michigan) and Phil Kessel (University of Minnesota) lead the charge of 17 American World Juniors stars slated to appear as part of NHL Network's NCAA hockey coverage.
