Astral Media launches CinéPop this november

Astral Media inc. will launch Cinépop a new french speaking channel that will focus on movies, either popular or classic, uncut and commerical-free.

Cinépop will be availalbe on the following digital providers:
- Bell ExpressVu (Channel 185)
- Vidéotron (Channel 205)
The channel will be free for you to review until january 31st, 2006.
NOTE: Channel Canada reported that Cogeco would also provide this channel. Cogeco has confirmed that the channel will NOT launch on november 1st. Apparently, Coego and Astral are still in negociations for the carriage. Channel Canada apologizes for any confusion.
