In the tradition of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Thriller
(1960) is a classic anthology series of twisted tales and spine-tingling
suspense, hosted by horror legend BORIS KARLOFF. Hailed by Stephen King as “the
best horror series ever put on TV”, the series features the works of some the

SCREAM HIGHLIGHTS

Evil Dead II
Broadcast date: October 2002
Starring: BRUCE CAMPBELL

This outrageous parody is one of the finest, most imaginative comedy horror
films ever made. Directed by SAM RAIMI (Spider-Man, A Simple Plan), Evil Dead II
(1987) has been described as Night of the Living Dead meets The Three Stooges
with its signature slapstick humour and grotesque comedic catchphrases. BRUCE
CAMPBELL plays Ash, an ordinary guy trying to survive the night by defending
himself against zombies, evil spirits and his own possessed hand. Evil Dead II
is dark, sensational and hilarious.

Halloween
Broadcast date: October 2002
Starring: JAMIE LEE CURTIS

Presented for the first time on television in a restored letter box format, JOHN
CARPENTER’S Halloween (1978) is the quintessential horror film – perfectly
executed, atmospheric, suspenseful and terrifying. JAMIE LEE CURTIS’ feature
film debut – to date, considered one of her best performances – propelled her to
stardom and forever labeled her the Scream Queen.

Rosemary’s Baby
Broadcast date: Fall 2002
Starring: MIA FARROW, JOHN CASSAVETES, RUTH GORDON

Based on IRA LEVIN’S best-selling novel of the same name, ROMAN POLANSKI’S
Academy Award®-winning Rosemary’s Baby (1968) tells the story of newlyweds
Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse (MIA FARROW and JOHN CASSAVETES). The young couple
befriend their new neighbours, who unbeknownst to Rosemary, are a coven of
witches. After Rosemary experiences a horrendous nightmare, the haunted and
hysterical woman believes that her unborn child is wanted for evil cult rituals.
Her curiosity quickly develops into vague suspicion, then paralyzing terror.

Dead Again
Broadcast date: Fall 2002
Starring: KENNETH BRANAGH, EMMA THOMPSON

Dead Again (1991) tells the story of Mike Church (KENNETH BRANAGH), a Los
Angeles private detective who specializes in finding missing persons. He takes
on the case of Amanda Sharp (EMMA THOMPSON), a woman suffering from amnesia who
has no memories of her own. Through Amanda’s nightmares and hypnosis, Mike soon
learns that he and Amanda were involved in a previous life together, where he
was accused of killing her. Directed by KENNETH BRANAGH, Dead Again is a
fascinating puzzle with electrifying action, dry wit and surprising twists.
