New on G4TechTV: Formula D
Welcome to Formula D, the premiere drift racing competition, an adrenaline-pumping, squealing, screeching sport imported from Japan and taking the US and Canada by storm. Snaking, hairpin turns are set up at a conventional race track and using a combination of clutch, emergency brake and steering, drivers in modified street cars fishtail through them at close to 100 miles per hour. Points are awarded for style as well as speed with crashes and spinouts regular occurrences. G4techTV will be the exclusive network of Formula D’s 2005 season. Superior race day coverage will include profiles and interviews with the sport’s hottest stars, expert race commentary and analysis, trackside reporting, drifting tips and tricks from the pros plus the inside line on the latest in drifting lifestyle. Shifting gears from cars to women, G4 introduces "Video Game Vixens," a digital beauty pageant featuring the hottest, sexiest and most lethal video game babes sure to get viewers' hearts racing and palms sweating. "Video Game Vixens" will tout a celebrity host who will preside over a panel of experts judging the most popular video game babes as they compete in categories such as "Biggest Guns," "Sweetest Kill Move" and "Most Lethal Embrace." Each episode will be a raucous celebration of the most deliciously enticing and dangerous video game hotties. Over the course of this four-episode series, "Video Game Vixens" will offer viewers a look at their favorite vixens as they've never been seen before, culminating in the crowning of "G4's Video Game Vixen of the Year."
